Former MN Cop Released From Prison After Serving Time For Shooting

Former Minnesota police officer Kim Potter is out of prison after serving 16 months for the fatal shooting of Daunte Wright. Potter shot and killed Wright during a traffic stop in the city of Brooklyn Center, just outside Minneapolis, when she accidentally pulled out her gun instead of her taser. She was convicted of two counts of manslaughter in the death of Wright and sentenced to two years. Potter will be on supervised release for last third of her sentence.
