Netflix Loses Nearly a Million Subscribers

Between April and July, Netlfix lost nearly a million subscribers. After an impressive streak of constant growth, this marked the second consecutive quarter of net subscriber loss. The streaming platform still has over 200 million subscribers. Surprisingly, the platform projected a worse loss for this quarter, but the new "Stranger Things" season may have stopped the bleeding. Netflix currently faces stiff competition from the likes of HBO Max and Disney+, while trying to raise its prices.
