Life expectancy in the U.S. has gone up for the first time in two years. A CDC report released Thursday found that in 2022, life expectancy at birth was 77-and-a-half years. The life expectancy rate still hasn't reached pre-pandemic levels, but Covid wasn't included in the top three leading causes of death in 2022. According to the report, heart disease and cancer were the leading causes of death, followed by unintentional injuries
