CPD has released a statement after a man was injured in a police-involved shooting at a CTA Red Line station on Friday, February 28th. The incident was caught on camera.
The man that was injured has been identified as Ariel Roman. Reports say Interim Chicago Police Superintendent Charlie Beck asked Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx to drop the charges of resisting arrest and criminal narcotics against Roman.
The Cook County State's Attorney's Office is working with the FBI to investigate the police-involved shooting.
