It is official! A Black Panther 2 is in the works and will hit theaters in 2022.
Black Panther was released in 2018 and grossed $700 million dollars. While reports don't say if the entire original cast will return for the sequel, we do know that the movie will be released on May 6, 2022. Director Ryan Coogler says the team wants to take their time to make sure they get everything right.
It is also believed that Black Panther 2 will not be the title of the movie. More details will be released closer to when the movie hits theaters.
