Sister Mary Jo Sobieck of Marian Catholic High School is headed to Los Angeles for the ESPY awards.
The nun was nominated for an ESPY after throwing out the first pitch at a Chicago White Sox game last year. The video of her epic pitch went viral and she could now possibly win an ESPY award for "Best Viral Sports Moment."
The ESPYs begin Wednesday, July 10th at 7 p.m. Fans can still cast their vote for Sister Mary Jo Sobieck until it starts by clicking this link.
