Ramova Theater To Reopen With New Owners Jennifer Hudson And Quincy Jones

A historic theater is preparing for a grand opening on Chicago's Southwest Side. Entertainers Jennifer Hudson, Quincy Jones, and Chance the Rapper will be co-owners of the new-look Ramova Theater at 32nd and Halsted. The venue, which was vacant for nearly 40 years, was bought by an investor for one dollar in 2017. The renovated Ramova Theter is expected to reopen at the end of the year.
