A new CTA Green Line station is coming to Chicago's West Side. Transit officials say the Damen station will open near the United Center in the early part of 2024. The project is designed to design improved travel for commuters trying to get to Bulls and Blackhawks games, as well as concerts. The work on the station and under the tracks on Lake Street will cost 80-million dollars and will be paid for by the Kinzie Industrial Corridor Tax Increment Financial District.
