Chicago's overnight winter parking ban goes into effect Friday. The ban is enforced regardless of snow on over 100 miles of main streets throughout the city during the hours of 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. Signage is permanently posted along the affected routes. Violators of the parking ban will be towed and face a minimum 150-dollar towing fee, a 60-dollar ticket, and a storage fee of 25-dollars per day. The ban runs through April 1st.
