Chicago Aldermen To Vote On $25M Police Misconduct Settlement

Chicago aldermen are expected to vote this week on a 25-million-dollar settlement in a Chicago police misconduct case. The case involved two men wrongfully convicted of murdering a college basketball standout three decades ago. Tyrone Hood and Wayne Washington each sued the city separately, claiming CPD officers fabricated evidence and coerced testimony to win murder convictions in the 1993 killing of Marshall Morgan Junior.
