Tuskegee Airmen Honored In Joint Base Andrews Ceremony

Three men who made U.S. aviation history were honored Wednesday in an aircraft exchange ceremony at Joint Base Andrews, near Washington, DC. at the 75th anniversary event celebrating the integration of the armed forces. A crowd gathered to celebrate the service of Colonel Carl Johnson, William Thomas Faun-troy Jr., and Lieutenant Colonel Ivan Ware. The aircraft exchanged Wednesday is a PT-17, the plane that trained hundreds of Tuskegee Airmen.
