SCOTUS Expected To Rule On Affirmative Action In Colleges

The Supreme Court is expected to rule on the use of affirmative action in college admissions any day now. A pair of cases -- one at University of North Carolina and the other at Harvard -- allege the practice harms white and Asian students. In the Harvard case, student Jon Wang was turned down by six elite universities despite a perfect score on the SAT's math section and a 4.65 high school GPA. He said he was told by college admission experts he would almost certainly have gotten into Harvard if he were Black.
