White Sox manager Tony La Russa is expected to announce his retirement today. USA Today's Bob Nighten-gale reported that health issues are the reason for the announcement. The Sox have been without the 78-year-old since the end of August when he stepped away at the request of his doctors. He then flew to Arizona to have his pace maker repaired.
