The world is mourning the death of Chicago jazz great Ramsey Lewis. Lewis passed away at his home in Chicago yesterday at the age of 87. The three-time Grammy winner crossed over from the Jazz charts to the Pop charts with his hit "The In Crowd." Lewis was born in Chicago in 1935, growing up in the Cabrini Green housing project.
