Houston Provides Housing to 25,000 Homeless People

Over the last ten years, Houston has dropped its rate of homelessness by 63%. The city uses the "housing first" method, providing a room and then focusing on drug addiction, jobs, and mental health afterwards. Churches, food banks, landlords, and other private and public organizations have contributed to the housing initiative. Houston hopes to have no homelessness within the next few years.
