5 former USPS employees among 11 charged with stealing credit cards in mail

Five former mail carriers who worked with the United States Postal Service were among 11 people that were indicted on charges that they along with other employees, stole credit cards from the mail to sell, this has gone on for 18 months, credit cards and other financial information was stolen in the mail. The employees were able to get people's social security numbers and dates of birth which gave them the opportunity to activate the stolen credit cards, they went on to make big purchases at electronics and department stores. The investigation went on for some time. It ended with 11 arrests and more to come.
