A Charlotte teen decided to use all of the excitement over The new chicken sandwich from popeyes to register people to vote. David Ledbetter isn't quite old enough to vote just yet. However, he will be in the 2020 election. He simply went up to people who were waiting in line and asked asked them if they had registered to vote. His push was so successful that he ran out of voter forms. He says that it felt Awesome. "I always want to engage the community. I try to engage the community in several different ways and, you know, voter registration is very important in my opinion so it felt amazing." What an Awesome Idea. Great Job Young Man.
