NYPD officer, Daniel Pantaleo, has been terminated after a disciplinary trial recommended his removal from the force.
Pantaleo is responsible for killing Eric Garner back in 2014. While the former police officer was not charged in Garner's death, Police Commissioner, James O'Neill, says Pantaleo was wrong when he kept Garner in a chokehold.
Pantaleo's termination means that he will lose the benefits that he would have obtained after he retired, but he can collect his pension.
