Congratulations to Kim Foxx! She has secured the endorsement of Cook County Democrats ahead of the 2020 primary.
Foxx talked to the committee saying,"When I ran in 2015, I said I was running to transform the way the Cook County State's Attorney's Office operates," and the committee decided to endorse her.
While the Jussie Smollett case will be an issue that the current state's attorney will have to deal with during her campaign, she says she is ready and will face one challenger in the Democratic primary next year.
