Chicago will be celebrating the music legacy of one the greatest artists of all time, The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin. I remember spending time with her when she came in town for The Queen of Gospel Albertina Walker's homegoing services some years back. A class act and as large of a personality as she was, Aretha was a humble giant. Which goes to show that we don't need to change and become "wonderful" just because God blesses us with a few gifts. Her music was and is timeless and this year she will be remembered.
