Efforts to kill a spider caused an apartment fire in Northern California.Redding firefighters say the residents tried to kill a spider using a torch lighter.The flaming spider then scurried onto some bedding, setting it on fire.The fire spread to the walls and ended up causing $11,000 in damage.
