He is also the founder of Stellar TV Network that is a faith based television entertainment network. Jackson is also known for his contributions/ work with The National Museum of Gospel Music, DuSable Museum Of African American History and founding ABLE (Alliance of Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs.

Jeremy E Joyce is the founder of Black People Eats, which supports and highlights local black owned restaurants and chefs in cities like Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, New Orleans, Washington D.C. and Baltimore. Joyce founded the company in 2017 and has over 160,000 Instagram followers. Joyce has also created a Black Owned restaurant relief fund that gifts money to restaurants in need and “Blacktober”, a virtual food festival to bring awareness to Black owned restaurants in October.
Josephine Wade founder of Josephine’s Southern Cooking, Originally named, Captain Hard Times, opened in 1986 in Chatham. Josephine’s has been a base for community organizing, political movements, fundraisers and a safe haven for at risk youth and people looking for a job. Aretha Franklin is among the celebrities that regularly frequented her restaurant for her famous gumbo.
Larry Roberts Jr , Owner and founder of Larry's Barber Colleges, started cutting hair at age 13 and Opened Larry’s Barber Shop in Matteson at the age of 18. After the success of multiple barber Shops across Chicago, Larry Opened his barber college in 2004 and has opened a barber college in cook county department of corrections. His Mission is to provide the community a positive, professional atmosphere for barber training, career development, client servicing, and mentoring.

Robin McFolling known as Chicago’s sausage queen is the 3rd generation Heir to Parker House Sausage Company. Parker House is one of the oldest black owned business in the united states celebrating 100 years in 2019!
Spencer Leak Jr, is the Vice President of Leak and Sons Funeral Home that has served Chicago communities for almost 90 years. Spencer is the third generation to run this family owned business. Leak and sons has been giving back to the Black community for generations…standing alongside Martin Luther King Jr and the Civil rights movement in Chicago, donating to local churches and families in need.
