City Colleges of Chicago staff and faculty are planning to announce a strike over plans to resume in-person learning.
The strike is calling for a safe work environment and for colleges to continue with remote learning until there is a safe plan in place. With COVID-19 cases continuing to rise in Chicago, staff members do not feel safe returning to in-person learning. The strike will also address unemployment challenges and more.
