Chicago police working on new plan to combat crime on CTA

Crime is becoming an increasing problem on CTA trains. The Chicago Police Department will soon release a new plan that they believe will help combat this problem.

Reports say that the CPD will unveil the new plan next week. It will include many things including using technology to prevent crime and more manpower on the CTA.

Interim Chicago Police Superintendent Charlie Beck says, "What we want to do is put more of a presence, not only on the platforms, but riding the trains themselves."
