Retired Catholic priest Father George Clements has died in a hospital in Hammond, Ind. Father Clements was pastor of Holy Angels Parish as well as an activist in the Civil Rights movements.
Father Clements marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., in Chicago, Alabama and Mississippi, He was also the first Catholic priest to become a father by adopting children.
