Rich East High School in Park Forest will permanently close its doors at the end of the school year.
Reports say it’s due to costs and low enrollment. The other 2 public high schools in the district, Rich South & Rich Central, will be renovated and students who would normally attend Rich East will now go to either one of those 2 high schools.
