Diahann Carroll has passed away following a battle with breast cancer. She was 84 years old.
The iconic actress & singer was best known for her role on “Julia.” With her playing Julia Baker in the sitcom, Carroll became the first African-American woman to star in her own television show as someone other than a servant.
