Whitney Young Magnet High School's new athletic center is now open. It was unveiled Monday, August 12th and is named after former first lady, Michelle Obama! Mrs. Obama graduated from the high school in 1981.
The Michelle Obama Athletic Complex has a track, and baseball, softball, soccer, football and lacrosse fields.
While the former first lady wasn't able to attend the ribbon cutting, she did send them a video statement that was played during the ceremony.
