After being on the loose for more than a week, Chance the Snapper has finally has been caught.
Reports say that officials from Chicago Animal Care and Control and the Chicago Park District confirmed that the alligator was safely caught overnight.
Today, city officials will hold a press conference at 10 a.m. at the Humboldt Park Boathouse to discuss the situation.
