Walmart is setting the bar high with its salaries

Don't count Walmart out if you are looking to make a good salary. It's actually the largest private employer in the U.S. and its store managers make about $175,000 a year.

Reports say that as of right now, Walmart employs 4,700 store managers.Not too long ago, the company was highly criticized for its minimum wage only being $11, but says that they have raised its starting wages more than 50% in the last 3 years.

The company says, "We're investing in our associates through wages along with better educational opportunities, benefit and training," and the company is only stating facts.

Reports say Walmart has improved employee benefits and bonuses. It's also expanded several policies including paid time off and parental leave. Last but not least, Walmart has created Walmart Academy to train employees in advanced skills as well.
