Chicago now has a new tool that can help save your life. Mayor Rahm Emanuel unveiled the "Smart911" tool. This web based tool can help you save information that first responders can use to find you and save your life in an emergency. An app for the tool exists also so your information is available with you at all times. Of the tool, Mayor Emanuel said, "Smart911 is part of our effort to leverage every tool to help first responders respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations - be it a burning home or a mental health crisis,".
