CPD Investigating Officers Accused Of Having Ties To Extremists

The Chicago Police Department is investigating allegations that more than two dozen current and former officers have ties to an anti-government extremist group. CPD Superintendent Larry Snelling told the City Council yesterday that the department would do everything it can to remove any officer with ties to extremists. His comments follow a report by the Sun Times and WBEZ that reveals at least 27 Chicago police officers appeared in leaked rosters for the Oath Keepers.
