The New York Public Libraries have announced they are giving away 500,000 books. Kids can select free books from public libraries in the Bronx, Manhattan, or Staten Island. Several books will be available in English, Spanish, and Chinese. The New York Public Libraries hopes the books will improve children's cognitive engagement and passion for reading this summer.
