Senate to vote on $1trillion-plus Coronavirus package again

Senate Takes Up Coronavirus Relief Bill Passed By House

Today, March 23rd, the Senate will vote on a $1 trillion-plus Coronavirus package.

The GOP bill would give most people that were laid-off and businesses that were hurt because of the Coronavirus pandemic checks of $1,200. This is the second time that the Senate is voting on the bill. They voted on it yesterday, March 22nd, but the bill did not pass.

Democrats say the GOP bill doesn't do enough and prioritizes the needs of Wall Street and corporate America over average people. They plan to introduce a new bill today.
