Where CPS families can receive support during school closures

CPS officials and companies around the world are making sure that no family is left without while schools are closed amid the fast spread of the Coronavirus.

Reports say families can pick up free meals for their children at the district school that is closest to them Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Families will receive a food bag that contains 3 days of breakfast and lunch for every child in their household.

CPS also says that parents can also pick up enrichment activity packets at school and companies around the world, including Scholastic are offering free online courses for Pre-K to grades 6 and higher.
