Longtime U.S. Representative, Elijah Cummings, has passed away.
Reports say he passed away due to “complications concerning longstanding health challenges." Cummings was the House Oversight Committee Chairman & was also at the center of the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump.
Cummings was a Civil Rights activist & known for fighting for African-American communities. He was just 68 years old.
