Hundreds of Chicagoans including Father Michael Pfleger are in Washington D.C. this morning to fight for Congress to end gun violence.
Father Pfleger and St. Sabina decided to organize this trip after the first weekend in August where there were 2 mass shootings and 7 people were killed and 52 people were injured in Chicago shootings.
They will rally outside the U.S. Capitol as the House Judiciary Committee holds a hearing on “Protecting America from Assault Weapons.”
