The murder investigation for Emmett Till has been reopened. The brutal murder happened 60 years ago, but the federal government has decided that it would like to reopen the investigation after receiving new information.
Of the case being reopened Paula Johnson, from Syracuse University who is leading the investigation said that they are "happy to have that be the case so that ultimately or finally someone can be held responsible for his murder," said Johnson, who leads the Cold Case Justice Initiative at Syracuse University.
