How to celebrate Memorial Day weekend in Chicago

Can't get out of town this Memorial Day weekend, but still want to enjoy the three-day weekend? Well, check out some of the things that you can do this weekend! 


1. The Chicago Memorial Day Parade is held on Saturday, May 26. The parade begins with a wreath-laying ceremony in Daley Plaza at 11am, then steps off from State and Lake Streets at noon.

2. House Music Festival at Millennium Park, 201 E Randolph St. May 26 1–9pm; free.

3. Lane Tech's Memorial Day Carnival - Lane Tech College Prep High School, 2501 W Addison St. May 25 5–10pm, May 26, 27 noon–10pm, May 28 noon–8pm; free.

4. Pixar exhibit - Museum of Science and Industry, 5700 S Lake Shore Dr. May 26, 28 9:30am–5:30pm, May 27 11am–5:30pm; $21.95–$33.95.
