Angela Bassett can now be called Dr. Angela Bassett. On Monday, she received an honorary degree from her Alma Mater, Yale University. She is a graduate of Yale's prestigious school of drama. She shared a photo of herself on her Instagram page thanking the school for this honor.
This will be her third degree from the Ivy League school, because not nly is she a graduate of the school of drama! Eileen O’Connor from the school's office of communications said honorees are chosen "through a process of careful selection, and we’re really excited to have them here to celebrate the graduation of the class of 2018."
