Chicago Community Update Covid-19

As Chicago continues to move towards safely reopening it is now more important than ever to continue to social distance, wear face mask or cloth face covering, and refrain from congregating in large crowds. To better get this message out to communities most effected by COVID-19, Mayor Lightfoot and the City’s Racial Equity Rapid Response Team have launched the innovative Artist Billboards Project. This project, presented by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and managed by artist Amanda Williams will feature PSA billboards designed by more than 20 artists emphasizing the important messages around social distancing, washing hands, and more, will be located in INVEST South/West neighborhoods on Chicago’s South and West sides. A map of the billboard can be found here.
