Minimum Wage Raising in 2022


in 20 states the federal minimum wage is set at $7.25 and has remained unchanged for some time now. According to the Economic Policy Institute, many states are set to raise their minimum wage at various points of the year. These states are include Washington D.C, New York, Arizona, Illinois, California, Connecticut, Florida, Maine, Missouri and plenty more states. And these prices are raising anywhere between $10 to $14. In some states certain ages, professions and companies of certain sizes will be excluded from receiving this raise. But all 20 states can expect this raise in the next upcoming year.
