Christmas Movies May Be Good For Mental Health

Many Christmas movies are watched this time of year and they could actually be helping us. Whether they're classics or more modern movies, psychotherapist Stacia Alexander says they're good for our mental health because they work to release brain chemicals that help us feel relaxed and happy. Dr. Alexander is referring to cortisol, the stress hormone in the brain, and dopamine, which produces feelings of pleasure.
