Chicago is launching a pilot to help victims of gun violence. The new 275-thousand-dollar Emergency Supplemental Victims' Fund program is designed to ease the financial burden and trauma inflicted on those directly impacted by gun violence. The initiative will start in East and West Garfield Park, Englewood, West Englewood, and New City.
