The photo archives of Jet and Ebony magazine are headed to the Smithsonian Institute. The move will begin within the next few weeks. Some of the images that focus on the history and culture of Chicago will remain in the city. Executives with the J. Paul Getty Trust are looking for a site to store and display the photos.
