Alleged Robber in Kim Kardashian Jewelry Heist Shows Little Regret

In 2016, Kim Kardashian was targeted in a jewelry heist. In an interview with Vice, Yunice Abbas, one of the men allegedly involved in the robbery, showed a lack of remorse: "Since she was throwing money away, I was there to collect it, and that was that. Guilty? No, I don't care. I don't care."

During a 2020 interview with David Letterman, Kim Kardashian discussed the trauma and anxiety she struggled with after the robbery, "I definitely took a year where I got really paranoid of people knowing my whereabouts. I didn't even want to go to a restaurant, because I thought someone will know I'm at this restaurant. They'll take a picture, they'll send it, they'll know my house is open, they'll know that my kids are there." Kardashian added, "I was just really scared of everything. I can't sleep at night unless there are a half a dozen security guards at my house and that has become my reality, and that's OK."
