Mercedes-Benz is recalling close to 750,000 cars because the sunroofs could possibly detach and fly off while driving. Included in the recall is Mercedes-Benz's C-Class, E-Class, CLK-Class and the CLS-Class, manufactured between 2001 and 2011. The material holding on those sunroofs can deteriorate, that can result in the sunroof detaching from the vehicle.
Those affected will be contacted by Mercedes on or after February 14, sunroofs will be inspected and replaced if necessary, free of charge.
