Camila Cabello's Hurt & Heartbroken On New Post-Breakup Song 'Cry For Me'

Camila Cabello is back with a new post-breakup track.

Friday (October 4) saw the premiere of the singer’s latest single, “Cry for Me,” an upbeat, heartbroken record that finds Cabello mourning the end of a relationship as her ex moves on with somebody else. “When I said I hope you're happy, didn't mean it/ Never thought you’d be so good at moving on,” a discontented Cabello sings in the pre-chorus of the Louis Bell and Frank Dukes-produced project.

“This song is one of my favorites,” the artist said on Instagram hours ahead of releasing the track. “I think everyone has felt this at one point or another, when your ex moves on faster than you and of course you want them to be happy but just..... not so fast.”

In addition, the Grammy-nominated musician also teased she has "a bunch of new music” coming “in the next few weeks,” as “Cry for Me” comes weeks after Cabello’s previously released singles, “Liar” and “Shameless,” dropped last month. All three cuts are expected to appear on her forthcoming sophomore album, Romance.

In related news, Cabello has been billed to perform at the 2019 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour presented by Capital One, kicking off on December 1 in Tampa, Florida, and will continue across the US throughout December including Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, Atlanta, and Miami.
