In the words of the Backstreet Boys, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes won't quit playing games with our hearts. The two continued to further ignite dating rumors over the weekend after the close friends/possible lovebirds were spotted holding hands (and not in a "we're just friends" sort of way if you ask me) while leaving brunch together in West Hollywood on Sunday (July 7).
The pop stars looked like more than friends as they interlocked their fingers during their afternoon hangout and smiled from ear-to-ear. Camila and Shawn even went in for a sweet embrace at one point.
As fans know, dating rumors have long plagued the twosome. However, they were heightened in the last two weeks, since the release of their hot and sexy duet "Señorita." Not only did their sensual music video add to the speculation, Camila's change in relationship status did as well. Following the release of the "Señorita"s music video, news broke that Camila and her boyfriend Matthew Hussey had called it quits after more than a year of dating.
On Friday (July 5), Camila showed up to Shawn's Los Angeles concert and showered him with praise on Instagram. "@shawnmendes you couldn't be more amazing. wow," she captioned a photo of him singing on her IG Story adding a red heart emoji. The 22-year-old singer later added, "You’re unreal. @shawnmendes."
The day prior, Camila and Shawn also seemed to be cozying up as they celebrated the Fourth of July together.
