Beyonce Partners With Google to Announce More HBCU Scholarships

The 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards - Red Carpet

Beyonce switched up her set a bit for Coachella’s second weekend, and Monday morning she did the same for another $100,000 grant to be divided between four Historically Black College or Universities — this one from Google.org, the tech giant’s charitable arm. Through her BeyGOOD initiative, the singer announced a partnership with Google.org to award four new scholarships as part of her Homecoming Scholars Award Program, and she also “issues a challenge to other businesses to join Google.org in investing in excellence through education,” according to the announcement.
